International Organizations
The Law of International Institutions
For more than six decades, the law of international institutions has clarified legal issues common to all international organizations, such as international legal personality, treaty-making power, delimitation of competences, structure and functioning, privileges and immunities, decision-making process, classification and effects of resolutions, control of legality, and international responsibility. Nowadays the law of international institutions draws attention to the extent of operation of international organizations to all areas of human activity and to their contribution to the development of international law.
