Funding of the Programme of Assistance In its resolution 75/134 of 15 December 2020, the General Assembly of the United Nations requested Member States, universities, philanthropic foundations and other interested national and international institutions and organizations, as well as individuals who are able to do so, to make voluntary contributions towards the financing of the Programme, in particular the United Nations Regional Courses in International Law and the United Nations Audiovisual Library, or otherwise to assist in its implementation and possible expansion (resolution 75/134, paras. 25 and 26). Voluntary contributions are welcomed in order to assist in the implementation of the Programme and its possible expansion. Financial contributions to support the implementation of the activities under the Programme of Assistance may be accompanied by an indication of the specific activity for which they are earmarked, i.e., the Regional Courses in International Law (RCIL), or the Audiovisual Library of International Law (AVL). In the absence of any such preference, contributions will be used to support one of the activities conducted by the Codification Division to promote the teaching, study, dissemination and wider appreciation of international law under the Programme. For further information regarding the various activities under the Programme of Assistance, please contact Ms. Jessica M. Elbaz, Secretary of the Advisory Committee on United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law, DC2-0547, 2 UN Plaza, United Nations, New York, NY 10017, USA; Tel.: +1 917 367 6008 - Fax.: +1 212 963 1963.
