This website provides access to the official records of a series of diplomatic conferences, convened by the United Nations in order to negotiate and adopt several treaties based on drafts prepared by the International Law Commission and considered by the Sixth (Legal) Committee of the General Assembly.
The official records are typically arranged in multiple volumes and reproduce the authentic version of a range of types of official documents, including those that were before the conference (such as the proposals of participants), the summary records of debates held at the conference, and the official versions of texts and other documents adopted by the conference.
The user is provided access by individual document as well as by volume. The collection of proceedings of each conference, as well as the combined collection of all conferences, is searchable in full-text format.
