- Report of the International Law Commission on the work of its twenty-fourth session, 2 May to 7 July 1972
- Established a Working Group to review the problem and prepare a set of draft articles. On the basis of the reports of the Working Group, the Commission adopted a set of 12 draft articles, with commentaries, on the prevention and punishment of crimes against diplomatic agents and other internationally protected persons, which it submitted to the Assembly as well as to Governments for comments.
