Mr. Jose Sette-Camara, a Judge of the ICJ, spoke on "Gilberto Amado, the man", and Mr. Cançado Trindade, Legal Adviser of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, spoke on "Gilberto Amado and the International Law Commission".
